E-commerce and EDI are supposed to make things easier but getting there can be painful. The Buyer’s Coach is a service whereby we help you, the buyer, select candidates from the ECEDI Solution Provider Directory who can fulfill your needs.

We have expert knowledge of the solution providers and will help you make the right choice. It’s well worth the investment, especially if you are not comfortable speaking in E-commerce / EDI terms or dealing with solution providers.

Here’s how the Buyer’s Coach works:

1. Obtain a copy of the ECEDI Solution Provider Directory.

2. Determine how much coaching time you would like to purchase. The cost is $24.95 per 15 minute increment.

3. Submit a Coaching Request. We’ll need to know how much time you want to purchase and when to schedule your first coaching session. We’ll confirm a date and time along with payment instructions.

4. Familiarize yourself with the contents of theECEDI Solution Provider Directory and prepare a list of questions to ask your coach.

5. At the mutually agreed date and time, a coach will call you. He/she will ask you a series of questions to get a better understanding of your needs. Have the list of questions you prepared earlier ready. Your coach will recommend up to three solution providers listed in the directory that you can contact.

6. Using the Solution Provider RFI, send a request to one or more solution providers and await their response. You must deal with the solution providers directly at all times, as your coach is not permitted to contact solution providers on your behalf.

7. When you need more assistance, send an e-mail to coach@ec-edi.biz and schedule your next coaching session. This is your next opportunity to ask more questions and receive feedback and advice prior to making a final buying decision.
