How it Works
The EC EDI Update News Service offers vendors, associations and practitioners of E-commerce / EDI the ability to broadcast press releases to the EC EDI Vantage Point mailing list. Our mailing list contains thousands of targeted e-mail addresses of individuals involved in E-commerce and EDI. Press releases can also be posted on this web site free of charge without having to go through our broadcast service.
These are some examples of how the EC EDI Update News Service is used by different organizations:
- Announce a new product release from a vendor
- Promote an upcoming conference
- Announce a strategic partnerships between two companies
- Promote a user group meeting
- Publicize the signing of a new contract
- Announce senior management or board appointments
View a sample Releases are distributed one at a time, thus ensuring exclusivity for the sender. If more than one release is scheduled for the same day, the times will be staggered. All releases are posted to the web site and archived for a minimum of 1 year.
Guidelines
- A press release should not be more than two pages in length, double-spaced, text only.
- Do not include graphics or file attachments.
- Try to avoid submitting a press release that is written like a product brochure, as readers tend to ignore them.
- Announcements should be short and stick to the facts. All releases and announcements should provide a link to your web site where more detail can be found.
- If you require some assistance, Vantage Point & Associates can write a press release on your behalf.

A block of 5 press releases can be purchased for $795.
The cost for Vantage Point & Associates to write a press release on your behalf is $395 plus the cost of distribution.
There is no cost to post a press release on this web site.
